Wound exudates are absorbed by hydrocolloid dressing and become a gel. Sometimes the cohesive gel stays within the dressing. But the vast majority of instances, the gel is significantly less sticky and never retained throughout the dressing.Covering a wound also cuts down the prospect of scarring. It helps stop scabbing, along with shields the woun
